Highlights of our travels included stops in Hanoi, Halong Bay, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way, we traveled by van, overnight train, junk boat, Vietnam Airlines, ferry, basket boat, and rowboat—each adventure adding something special to the trip.
Thanks to excellent planning and our wonderful local guides, our trip was both enjoyable and educational. We had Billy in Hanoi, Tailor in Sapa, Quy in Danang, and Dominic (Hung) in Ho Chi Minh City, and each one was a delight. They were all knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and attentive to our needs, making sure we had a truly memorable experience. They brought the trip to life with their personalities and humor, helping us feel at home and have a great time.
