DAY 01

ARRIVAL SAIGON

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at night, you will be greeted by the local guide and transferred to the hotel to check in.

Saigon now is Ho Chi Minh City but residents still call it by the lovely name Saigon, it is one of Vietnam’s economic centers, this city attracts a lot of travelers per year by its resistant history, culture, and vibrant. In the past, Saigon has been considered A Pearl of the Far East region.

DAY 02

SAIGON – CAI BE – SAIGON (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel. The way from Cai Be towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River takes 2.5-hour to drive. Cai Be is a district located in the West of Tien Giang province, it is famous for floating market – a signature of Southeast culture.

Travelers visit a village on the banks of the Mang Thit river to perceive the residents’ live life. You can enjoy the cool wind carrying the scent of rice, the rustic and simple residents here to give you a peaceful feeling. Travelers can try tropical fruits here.

After the excursion, visitors go back to Saigon.

DAY 03

SAIGON – CITY TOUR – CU CHI TUNNELS (B)

In the morning, travelers depart to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which is an underground defense system built by Viet Minh resistance officials from 1946 - 1948. The tunnel system includes clinics, rooms, kitchens, storage, and office. Length of about 250km, here is the Vietnam soldier’s battle base in the resistant American period. You will have a short walk into the jungle to visit the traps, the secret entrance, the bunkers, and the underground hideout. There offers you a special and fantastic chance to relax by shooting real guns and bullets at the rifle range). You may try to crawl into the Cu Chi Tunnels to explore how the Vietnam soldier’s war life.

Afternoon, travelers join in a Sai Gon City tour to explore this city deeper, go visit the Independent Palace also known as the Reunification palace, which was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. DAY 04

SAIGON – DA NANG – HAI VAN PASS – MARBLE MOUNTAIN – HOI AN (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel. Travelers go to the Saigon airport to take the flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and start to visit the scenic Hai Van Pass, a length of 20km go through the Bach Ma mountain, between Hue province and Da Nang city. You guys can have a chance to admire the beautiful scenery on the way and perceive information about history from the tour guide.

On the way go to Hoi An, stop over to visit Marble Mountain, which is a complex of 5 mountains, you could experience going inside the mountain, get information about history, take pictures and explore the mountain.

After dinner, passengers continue to get to Hoi An. Hoi An old town is a very special town in Vietnam, which has been recognized as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1999. In the past, Hoi An was the biggest trading port in the Asia region. after a long time and many periods of colonization, Hoi An was affected by strong acculturation from Japan, China, the United Kingdom, French, and America. Besides, Hoi An also has delicious local food such as Cao Lau, My Quang, etc that can give you a big impression

DAY 05

HOI AN – COOKING CLASS – HOI AN VISITING TOUR – THU BON RIVER TOUR – THU BON SUNSET (B, L)

After Breakfast, travelers join in Hoi An tour to explore this wonderful old town, you will visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Museum of History and Culture, Hoi An Handicraft Workshop, etc, and enjoy the beauty of the old town.

After wandering around the whole town, travelers join in a cooking class and get bicycle experiences. Afterward, enjoy boating on Thu Bon River to admire the sunset.

Thu Bon River is a tourist destination of Hoi An. The site is famous with a large basin area of 10.3 km2. It is one of the largest inland basins of Vietnam. Thu Bon bears in its beauty the cultural imprint, and historical image of Vietnam. The river has had a long history. But to this day it still continues to flow. And still working hard to make alluvial soil. The Thu Bon river originated from many small streams flowing down from the Ngoc Linh mountain.

DAY 06

HOI AN – DA NANG – BA NA HILLS – HUE (B)

After breakfast, travelers get back to Da Nang city. Da Nang city is one of the biggest cities in the region. It’s also an important seaport. Da Nang is very famous for Cham Museum, Son Tra Peninsula, Non Nuoc Beach, Han river, etc. Travelers can enjoy the trip to visit this city in the morning.

Depart from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills – a famous attraction in this city, you have chance to check in the 150-meter-long “Golden Bridge”, visit Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens, the Debay Wine Cellar of France. Visit Linh Ung pagoda, admire the 27m high Buddha statue, Loc Uyen Garden, Quan Am Cac and Fantasy Park.

After dinner, travelers are transported to Hue City. Hue city has a rich cultural value, it remained the nation’s capital from 1788 to 1945 for over 2 dynasties. This city gathers five UNESCO titles in Vietnam including: complex of Hue monument, Hue Royal Refined music, Nguyen Dynasty Woodblocks, Nguyen Dynasty Scrolls, System of Poetry and Choi local music has been recognized as an intangible cultural heritage. 

You will have a free night at Hue city to explore this city on your way.

DAY 07

HUE FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B)

After breakfast, travelers take part in Hue city tour, you depart to visit the Citadel, containing the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum. Continue going to visit Minh Mang's tomb. Stop on the way to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made. Lunch at a local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, you get on a Dragon Boat cruising on the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. From here you can admire the beauty of Hue’s Scenery and perceive Hue’s culture.

Enjoy local food at dinner. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 08

FLIGHT TO HANOI – HANOI CITY TOUR (B)

After breakfast, tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel and go to the airport to take flight to Hanoi

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, it is the center of culture, economy, education, and politic of Vietnam. Located on the bank of Red river, Hanoi is the most ancient capital in the world, where travelers can find well-preserved colonial buildings, ancient pagodas, temples, and unique museums within the city center.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, travelers go to check in at hotel and get started on Hanoi city tour.

The tour guide will lead you to visit: Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. Afterward, visit Ho Chi Minh complex, Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups.

Try delicious Vietnamese cuisine at lunch.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam, established in the 11th century. Afterward, leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which was originally used by the French colonists.

DAY 09

HANOI – HA GIANG (B)

In the morning, travelers depart to Ha Giang. Ha Giang is truly breathtaking and embraced by the most majestic mountain area in Vietnam. This province in the Northeast of Vietnam concentrates lots of Mong ethnic people in this region. Ha Giang is very famous for its beautiful scenery and the cultural feature of Mong ethnic is expressed by their custom, garment, and food.

Upon arrival in Ha Giang, visit Thon Tha Village or Ha Thanh Village, not too far from the city, you will take a soft trek to explore and perceive the local life of the Tay Ethnic and immerse yourself in the peace of these villages. Visit Cam mountain (meaning Prohibit Mountain) to get a panorama city view.

DAY 10

HA GIANG – QUAN BA – LUNG CU – DONG VAN (B)

Breakfast and transfer to Dong Van. Dong Van is a border highland district of Ha Giang province, 150 km north of Ha Giang city, the northernmost district of Vietnam. On the way to Dong Van, the van stop over Quan Ba sky gate, travelers take pictures and admire a panorama view of the town. Continue to Lung Tam Valley, and discover the beautiful architecture of the old houses of the Hmong (Pao’s house) and Lolo people before leaving for the Vuong's Palace in Sa Phin Valley. The building used to belong to a King of the Hmong people during the French domination. Continue to Lung Cu flag Tower – a monument of Northern Vietnam height 1.470m above sea level. Transfer to Dong Van, time to relax and discover the ancient town and local market. You can buy signature garments and other souvenirs.

DAY 11

DONG VAN – BA BE (B)

After breakfast, tour guide and driver will pick you up to depart from Dong Van to Ba Be. It will take bout 7 hours to dive to Ba Be. On the way to Ba Be, the van will cross Ma Phi Leng pass is one of the most majestic passes in the North of Vietnam, ready your camera to take few beautiful pictures. 

Arrive in Ba Be district very famous for Ba Be National Park, it is a national park, a special-use forest, and an eco-tourism area in Vietnam, located in Bac Kan province, with Ba Be lake in the center. Travelers can get experience in the forest, get information bout nature and plant.

DAY 12

BA BE LAKE – DAU DANG – BA BE – HANOI (B)

Breakfast and commence to explore the Ba Be Lake by boat trip in Ba Be National Park, the largest natural lake in Vietnam like Halong Bay in mountains. Admire the tranquil landscape of the corn farm and stilt houses of the Tay community. Walk to the Nung village people and admire the Dau Dang waterfall. Have lunch and come back to Ba Be district.

DAY 13

HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR – CYCLO (B)

Have breakfast. Travelers have a chance to observe the daily life of the locals and capture some memorable pictures. Wonder around the street, and try local food, explore the city on your way.

Visit the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, and One Pillar Pagoda. Take a cyclo tour.

HANOI – HALONG BAY (B, L, D)

Have breakfast at the hotel, after that travelers depart for Halong Bay, visitors will spend their next 2 days in Halong Bay, a Natural World Heritage. This destination has 2 times recognized by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006 as World Natural Heritage Site with aesthetic value and Global Exceptional Value in Geology - Geomorphology. This destination also sticks with a fantasy story to describe its name and it attracts millions of visitors per year.

Upon arrival seaport, check-in and get on a private overnight cruise. Enjoy a trip to Halong Bay. The cruise will stop over to visit caves or swim and enjoy the sunset on the sea. Travelers try fresh seafood at dinner and can be served dinner anywhere on cruise as per request.

What types of cash and denominations are used when traveling in Vietnam?

The official currency in Vietnam is the Vietnam Dong, symbolised by ₫ or VND. If you’re confused by all the zeros, mentally remove three zeros to get a simpler number.
