DAY 01

SAIGON ARRIVAL – HALF DAY CITY TOUR (D)

Upon arrival International Airport Saigon meet local guide Transfer to your hotel (check in after 14:00, early check-in is subject to availability). If time permit, visit Post Office, Notre Dam cathedral, local market. 

Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 02

SAIGON – CAN GIO MANGROVE – VAM SAT – SAIGON (B)

You’ll be transffered by car to boat at Saigon’s central pier. Boat will depart Saigon for the lush, green tributaries of the Mekong Delta. Visit Can Giuoc Market, a bustling local riverside market at the gateway to the Mekong Delta. The surrounding landscape will begin to change from lush riverside water palms to dusky mangrove swamps as you move from the Delta towards Can Gio Forest. Arrive at the Giant Bat Lagoon and explore gently by rowing boat, before trekking through the mangrove jungle. Continue to Vam Sat Eco Park, visit a crocodile reserve (and feed them if you wish!), see monkey in their natural habitat, enjoy crab fishing and bird-watching for exotic local and migratory species. Arrive back Saigon’s central pier and head to hotel by car.

DAY 03

SAIGON – CU CHI – SAIGON (B)

After breakfast, depart Saigon for Cu Chi Tunnel. Head underground to the subterranean labyrinth used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War and hear about the region’s history from your informative personal guide.

DAY 04

SAIGON – CAI BE – VINH LONG – CAN THO (B)

Have a breakfast tne leave Saigon behind and head to Vietnam's rice basket of Mekong Delta. On the way, stop to visit Cao Dai Temple in My Tho City, a religious center of worship unique to Vietnam.
Boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Overlooking floating houses, see the performance with traditional music. Passing through bee-keeping farm, enjoying honey tea. Continue travelling to learn coconut candies making process from a workshop. Sample of candies can be tasted. Continue to Can Tho.

DAY 05

CAN THO – SAIGON – FLIGHT DALAT (B)

Wake-up in the early morning to see the local life and onto a local boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market. Come back to hotel for breakfast and check-out back to Saigon airport for your onward flights to Dalat, a heart of Highland Vietnam.

DAY 06

DALAT – DATANLA WATERFALLS – LANG BIANG – TRUC LAM MONASTERY (B)

Have a breakfast at hotel then visit Datanla waterfall. Datanla stream flows slowly through cliffs then fflow onto a deep hole called deadly abyss located between two vertical cliffs with the height of over 40m. 
Moving to Langbiang mountain, the highest mountain in Dalat with the hight is 1950metters above the sea level, considered as the rooftop of Dalat city. Immerse yourself in religious history at one of the three largest monasteries in Vietnam, Truc Lam Zen Monastery. Comeback to downtown.

DAY 07

DALAT – FLIGHT DANANG – CITY DANANG – HOI AN (B)

This morning relax and free until the bus transfer to airport for flight to Danang. Upon arrival Danang, visit Museum of Cham Sculpture, one of the first museums built in Vietnam by the French. Heading to Hoian Ancient Town, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will discover the Hoi An Ancient Town including Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.

Overnight in Hoian.

DAY 08

HOIAN – MY SON – FLIGHT TO HANOI – CYCLO & PUPPET SHOW (B)

Local guide and driver pick you up from hotel to drive to My Son Holy Land. Chance to enjoy beautiful Cham People dancing and music performance (depends on the day as performance not available on Monday). Heading out to visit Cham Ruins. At My Son we visit the amazing temples of the Cham people to learn more about this Holy Land where the Cham people worshipped Gods in Hinduism. 

Transfer to Danang Airport and take a flight to Hanoi capital. Transfer to downtown enjoy the cyclo tour around the Old Quarter and finish the day by Water Pupet Show.

DAY 09

HANOI – FLIGHT DIEN BIEN – TOUR IN DIEN BIEN (B)

Have a breakfast at hotel, then take a short flight from Hanoi to Dien Bien. Arrival in Dien Bien, visit the Dien Bien Phu campaign headquarters, the cellar of General Vo Nguyen Giap, Hoang Van Thai. Visit Dien Bien Phu Museum, which is associated with the Dien Bien Phu victory in history.

DAY 10

DIEN BIEN – A1 HILL – MUONG LAY – PHONG THO – LAI CHAU (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel, visit the monuments associated with the historic Dien Bien Phu victory: A1 Hill, De Casteries Tunnel, Muong Thanh Bridge, Nam Rom River, Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument - The places are still full of heroic echoes of the war with historical significance of the whole nation. Transfer to Lai Chau, en route you will pass Muong Cha, Muong Lay, Hang Tom bridge – border of 2 provinces of Dien Bien and Lai Chau, Phong Tho, chance to admire the majestic landscape.

DAY 11

LAI CHAU – O QUY HO PASS – TRAM TON – BAC WATERFALL – SAPA (B)

After breakfast, depart for Sapa, the bus will take you along Highway 4D, conquer Hoang Lien Son range, take souvenir photos at the top of O Quy Ho pass - one of the four great passes of Vietnam, see O Quy Ho heaven gate, then continue to visit, Tram Ton, Bac Waterfall - one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam.

Visit Cat Cat Village, an age-old village of H'Mong ethnic group remaining unique customs and practices that are lots in other villages, admire a lively and colorful picture. Discover countless unique features of H’Mong.

DAY 12

SAPA – FANSIPAN PEAK – HANOI (B)

Have a breakfast, visit Fanssipan peak. Then spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos). Come back to Cable Car Station and head to Hanoi.

DAY 13

HANOI – HALF DAY CITY TOUR – NINH BINH (B)

Have breakfast. Take this chance to observe the daily life of the locals and capture some memorable pictures. Visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda and West Lake. Then drive about 3 hours from Hanoi to Ninh Binh named as Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties dating back to the 11th century. Not much of the capital remains, but some of its ruins and tombs have survived for a millennium.

HOA LU – TAM COC – THUNG NHAM BIRD PARK – NINH BINH (B)

This morning continue to nearby Tam Coc or Three Caves in Vietnamese, an area of natural beauty that is often referred to as Halong Bay on land. Take a cruise on rowing boat down the emerald river to the ancient caves. See limestone karsts jetting skywards out of electric green rice paddies. Visit Thung Nham bird park, immersed in the wild and nature, enjoy fresh atmosphere and quietly listen to thousands birds are singing.

DAY 15

NINH BINH – HALONG – OVERNIGHT CRUISE (B, L, D)

After early breakfast, bidding farewell Ninh Binh to drive to the coastal port of Halong. The journey takes around four hours with a break to stretch your legs. Halong is recognized a Natural World Heritage by UNESCO composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars. Upon arrival, check-in private overnight boat. Enjoy a trip on Halong with stops to visit caves or to swim and enjoy the sunset on the sea. Dinner with fresh seafood! You can be served dinner anywhere on your cruise as per your request. Swim and enjoy the sunset on the sea.

HALONG – HANOI – DEPARTURE (B, Brunch)

Enjoy miraculous sunrise over the islets of the Bay. The boat will take us to go about marvelous areas. Then it’s back to the boat and cruise to Halong Port arriving around noon. Local guide and driver will take you to Hanoi airport to take onward flight home.

What types of cash and denominations are used when traveling in Vietnam?

The official currency in Vietnam is the Vietnam Dong, symbolised by ₫ or VND. If you’re confused by all the zeros, mentally remove three zeros to get a simpler number.
