Welcome to Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam and start your tour with us! Meet your English speaking guide and check in to your hotel at 2:00 pm before exploring this beautiful city with your tour guide.

Day 02

HANOI – HALONG – HANOI – SHARING GROUP (B/L/-)

After breakfast, depart to Halong to visit Halong Bay by a Halong inday cruise, Limousine/Sharing car pick you up at hotel in Hanoi old quarter to depart to Halong. Upon arrival in Halong Marina, embark your boat and start cruising. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungleclad limestone pillars. Passenger could join in activies as Kayak, swim or visit Cave in Halong bay. Afternoon, back to Hanoi.

HANOI – HA GIANG – HOANG SU PHI – LOCAL WATERFALL (B/-/-)

This morning, depart the hotel after breakfast for a 6,5-7 hours drive to Hoang Su Phi in Ha Giang. Arrival in the late afternoon, visit local waterfalls and experience local live of Dao Hill Tribe.

TREKKING DAY IN LOCAL VILLAGE AND TERRACED FIELDS (B/-/-)

After breakfast, start your trekking trip from Nam Hong to Khoa Thuong village which is the land of Dao Ao Dai (long tunic). You will trek through the rice terraces, forests, and ethnic villages. After lunch at local house, head to Ha Giang city.

Day 05

HA GIANG – QUAN BA – LUNG CU – DONG VAN (B/-/-)

Distance: ~ 130km, transfer: ~ 3,5-hour drive (depending on traffic)

Today, enjoy the breakfast then transfer to Dong Van. Drive through Quan Ba skygate, take a piture, have a panorama view of the town. Head to Lung Tam Valley, discover the beautiful architecture of the old houses of the Hmong (Pao’s house) and Lolo people before leaving for the Vuong's Palace in Sa Phin Valley. The building used to belong to a King of the Hmong people during the French domination. Continue to Lung Cu flag Tower – is a moniment in northern Vietnam. Transfer to Dong Van, time to relax and discover the ancient town and local market.

DEEPEST CANYON IN SOUTHEAST ASIA – LOCAL VILLAGE (B/-/-)

This morning visit Tu San Canyon. Passing Ma Phi Leng pass, one of the most beautiful pass in the North of Vietnam. Trails from Meo Vac to the Tu San western ravine are very deserted and winding. With narrow path, a lot of rugged rock, it makes people scare when contemplating abyss. However, visitors can enjoy the rice terraces in the mountainside, back pass and the image of Nho Que River. After boat riding on Tu San Canyon, heading to Khuoi Khon Village which is famous for Nung Hill Tribe, visit local village.

Day 07

14-STORY MOUNTAIN PASS – TREKKING – CAO BANG (B/-/-)

After breakfast, depart 1,5 hours for Nam Ngua passing Me Pia Pass – the terrifying 14-story mountain pass in Vietnam. Arrive Nam Ngua, visit a natural stream. If you want, you can swim the stream. Continue to Phia Thap for afternoon trekking. It takes almost 2 hours trekking through the village trails long 6 km. After trekking optional transfer 1,5 hour to Ban Gioc for overnight in hotel or finish trekking at local homestay in the village (private room but sharing toilet).

BAN GIOC WATERFALL – TIGER CAVE – BA BE (B/-/-)

After breakfast, discover Ban Gioc waterfall, on the Quay Son River, considered as one of the biggest waterfalls of Vietnam. Here the river acts as a natural border between the 2 countries. Continue to Nguom Ngao cave, one of the most interesting and impressive limestone grottos of the Northern provinces. Upon entering the grotto, walk for around 1 km to admire the spectacular natural formations. Continue to Ba Be National Park.

Day 09

BA BE LAKE – HANOI – FLIGHT TO DANANG (B/-/-)

In the morning, explore the Ba Be Lake on a boat trip, the largest natural lake in Vietnam like Halong Bay in mountain. Admire the tranquil landscape of corn farm and stilt houses of the Tay community. Head to Noi Bai International Airport to take a flight to Danang – a city in Central Vietnam. From this city, we'll transfer for 40 minutes to Hoi An well known for its exceptionally well-preserved Ancient Town with charming architecture. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of cities, this is the perfect spot for you to unwind.

Day 10

HOI AN – COOKING CLASS – ANCIENT TOWN (B/L/-)

After breakfast, you’ll be taken to the center of Hoi An to visit the colorful market. At the market you’ll have the opportunity to interact with local sellers and learn about the fresh ingredients you’ll be using during your cooking lesson later in the day. This is a great chance to take some photos as well, so be sure to have your camera ready! Head to Tra Que vegetable village. You’ll enjoy a welcome drink and then walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work in their fields following the methods that have been in use for hundreds of years. Next you’ll having a cooking lesson with a chef to learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. After the lesson, you’ll have a chance to enjoy what you’ve cooked! The day tour will be finished after visiting the Ancient Town Hoian.

HOI AN – BANA HILL – GOLDEN BRIDGE – SAIGON (B/-/-)

After breakfast, leave Hoi An to visit Bana Hill. We take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station, visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine 
Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda. Back to the airport and take a short flight to Saigon

Day 12

SAIGON – CAI BE – VINH LONG – CAN THO (B/-/-)

Travel to the Mekong Delta to take a boat ride and float down the Mekong River. En route visit Coconut Candy Village or Cai Be Village to get a closer look of how their specialties are made. Row a sampan through the channels, you can learn more about the local life and sample freshly harvested tropical fruits. 

You will head to Can Tho about midday for overnight.

Day 13

CAN THO – CAI RANG MARKET – SAIGON (B/-/-)

SAIGON – CAO DAI TEMPLE – CU CHI TUNNEL (B/-/-)

In the morning, transfer to Tay Ninh to visit Cao Dai temple. Then transfer to Cu Chi to visit the amazing tunnel network of Cu Chi. This incredible system, covering almost 250 kilometers in length, was shelter to over 16,000 Vietcong during the wars. Initially started in 1948 to fight against the French air and ground sweeps, the network then served as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for Vietnamese fighters throughout the American war. If interested, you can even descend into the tunnels to learn more about the harsh conditions faced by the Vietcong guerrillas who lived there.

What types of cash and denominations are used when traveling in Vietnam?

The official currency in Vietnam is the Vietnam Dong, symbolised by ₫ or VND. Vietnamese notes are a mix of small paper bills (no coins are used), and larger polymer bills, in values from 10,000 VND to 500,000 VND. If you’re confused by all the zeros, mentally remove three zeros to get a simpler number.
