Welcome to Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam and start your tour with us! Meet your driver then transfer to Hanoi center, check in to your hotel at 2:00 pm before exploring this beautiful city.

DAY 02

HANOI – SAPA – TREKKING LOCAL VILLAGE AND TERRACED FIELDS (B/-/-)

Distance: ~ 320 km, ~ 5 - 6 hours of drive (depending on traffic)

After breakfast, depart to Sapa, on the way you can admire the beautiful scenery on way. Upon arrival we head toward to Ma Tra and Ta Phin.

Venture to Ta Phin, a neighboring village known for its vibrant Red Dao community and stunning landscapes. Take a guided trek through the scenic hills, passing through terraced fields and enjoying panoramic views, before arriving in Ta Phin to witness the Red Dao's distinctive clothing and intricate embroidery techniques. Engage in a cultural exchange with the villagers, perhaps participating in a traditional handicraft workshop.

Adventure by exploring the picturesque village of Ma Tra, surrounded by lush terraced rice fields and traditional H'mong ethnic houses. Immerse yourself in the local culture as you interact with the friendly H'mong people, learning about their unique customs and handicrafts.

DAY 03

SAPA TREKKING – FANSIPAN (B/-/-)

Hiking: ~ 2-3 hours 

After breakfast, depart to Sapa, on the way you can admire the beautiful scenery on way. Upon arrival we head toward Lao Chai and Ta Van to walk through the Terrance and explore Hmong minority ethnic life live and culture Lao Chai is a traditional Hmong village surrounded by breathtaking rice terraces and scenic landscapes. Take a leisurely stroll through the village, interact with the locals, and immerse yourself in their culture and way of life. From Lao Chai, continue your journey to Ta Van Village, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. Ta Van is a charming village inhabited by the Giay ethnic minority. The trek will lead you through picturesque valleys, terraced rice fields, and bamboo forests. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings as you make your way to Ta Van.

In the afternoon, visit Fansipan peak. Then spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos.

DAY 04

SAPA – EXPLORE LOCAL MARKET – BAO YEN – CINNAMON PLANTATION (B/-/-)

Distance: ~ 130km, ~ 3-hour drive (depending on traffic)

In the morning, start visit local market, it depends on your date, the market schedule available as below (except Monday):

  • Friday: Lung Khau Nhin Market
  • Saturday: Can Cau Market

DAY 05

HIKING VILLAGE – LOCAL WATERFALL – HA GIANG (B/-/-)

Trek through the quiet valley trails, past terraced rice fields, cinnamon forests and beautiful natural waterfalls. Visit the mountain villages around the Cinnamon farm, where your guide will introduce you to the flower H'mong and black and white Tay people who live there. Visit and swim in a local waterfall.

In the afternoon, transfer to Ha Giang for overnight.

DAY 06

HA GIANG – LOCAL VILLAGE – LOCAL VILLAGE & WATERFALL (B/-/-)

After breakfast, visit a local market then hike in Ha Thanh village. You can immerse yourself in the cool water at a waterfall.

Ha Thanh village is one of the attractive villages where is a stream flowing from the mountain to the valley, in the water season, forming a beautiful waterfall called "waterfall No.6". You will get better knowledge about their customs and spiritual values of the Tay people and also enjoy the alluring atmosphere surrounding.

DAY 07

HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN (B/-/-)

Distance: ~ 150km, ~ 4,5-hour drive (depending on traffic)

After breakfast, travel along a beautiful mountain road to Dong Van, a small town located in Dong Van Highlands. You can stop midway to enjoy breathing fresh air and take photographs at Quan Ba heaven gate. From the top of the mountain, you can eyesight to the farthest side to admire the majestic scenery of this Dong Van rock plateau. In the front is the vast Quan Ba valley, bringing a peaceful beauty with terraces field and flickering the houses of ethnic minorities sometimes emitting smoke from the kitchen.

Upon arrival in Dong Van, we will spend time visiting the pine forest and King of the H’mong’s Palace - a national relic featuring typical H’mong architecture, a fortress built by a local chief allied with the French against the Vietminh, Vuong Chin Duc, and evacuated in 1950.

DAY 08

DONG VAN – MEO VAC – HIKING KHUOI KHON VILLAGE – BAO LAC (B/-/-)

Distance: ~ 110km, ~ 3-hour drive (depending on traffic)

Hiking: ~ 2-3 hours

The private car takes you to Meo Vac through Ma Pi Leng pass on the Happiness road. You will have a chance to admire the wonderful scenery on the way. Then take a boat trip to visit Nho Que river – the best river in Ha Giang province. After visiting the wonderful landscapes in Ha Giang, we go straight to Bao Lac.

Transfer to Khuoi Khon village, inhabited by members of the Black Lo Lo ethnic group, where have filmed the “Reportage the forgotten land”. Start trekking for 2 hours to explore the rural village. Immerse in the daily life of the Black Lo Lo villagers. Take a lovely hike along the ridge to the summit overlooking the village.

DAY 09

BAO LAC – BAN GIOC WATERFALL – CAO BANG (B/-/-)

Distance: ~ 200km, ~ 5,5-hour drive (depending on traffic)

After breakfast, depart to visit Ban Gioc waterfall considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam. Visit Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark with a highland tropical monsoon climate and two distinct wet and dry seasons, the Geopark exhibits a rich biodiversity, with widespread forests, endemic faunas and floras, herbs, specialty crops etc. The region has a complex drainage network that includes 5 major river systems and 47 lakes.

In the tour you could have chance to visit the village of forging knives and agricultural tools, the village of making incense.

Depart to Cao Bang.

DAY 10

BA BE NATIONAL PARK (B/-/-)

In the morning, depart to visit Ba Be lake – the most important natural lake in Vietnam visit Ra market at 12 pm. Car will pick you up to start a boat trip wonder on the lake. Take a walk, visit bat cave and swim. We visit Ba Be National Park - recognized as an ASEAN natural heritage. Ba Be National Park is a complex of rivers, lakes, and lowland evergreen forests on limestone mountains which create high biodiversity. Because of this magnificence, Ba Be is sometimes referred to as “Halong Bay on land”.

DAY 11

BA BE – HANOI (B/-/-)

Distance: ~ 200km, ~ 5-hour drive (depending on traffic)

In the morning, take a short trip to visit Hua Ma cave (which mean the Horse head), a hidden gem of impressive stalactites and mysterious legends. There are curving limestones looking like terraced rice fields and 10-metre-high stone pillars resembling those found in ancient temples and pagodas. Stalactites and stalagmites of various sizes and shapes adorn the cave.

After an hour visit the cave we depart to get back to Hanoi.

DAY 12

HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

Distance: ~ 180km, ~ 3-hour drive (depending on traffic)

After early breakfast, drive to the coastal port of Halong. The journey takes around three hours with a break to stretch your legs. Upon arrival in Tuan Chau Marina, embark your boat and start cruising. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars.

After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat.

DAY 13

HALONG – HANOI (B/BR/-)

Accommodation: Hotel 

Meals included: Breakfast, Brunch

Enjoy miraculous sunrise over the islets of the Bay. The boat will take us to go about marvelous areas. Then it’s back to the boat and cruise to Halong Port arriving around noon. Back to Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, check in at the hotel and relax. Free in the evening.

What types of cash and denominations are used when traveling in Vietnam?

The official currency in Vietnam is the Vietnam Dong, symbolised by ₫ or VND. If you’re confused by all the zeros, mentally remove three zeros to get a simpler number.
