Siem Reap’s entire Angkor complex is a testament to a glorious past. Hoi An’s history as a trading port was fascinating. Da Nang’s Cham Museum offered a glimpse into an ancient civilization. Hue, as the former imperial capital, was steeped in history at every turn. Ninh Binh’s Hoa Lu ancient capital was also very interesting. While Ha Long Bay is more about natural beauty, its legends are captivating. Hanoi’s Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex were significant sites. Mieera provided excellent historical context throughout our journey, making each site visit more meaningful. Her passion for the local culture was truly inspiring.
